Hearing and Balance
The multidisciplinary expertise team of Hearing and Balance consists of audiologists, speech therapists, an ENT-specialist, an engineer and a biomedical scientist. The expertise of the team includes both the audiological and vestibular field.
Our expertise focuses on:
- cochlear implants
- fine-tuning of hearing devices
- problems with balance
- ICF-model with client-oriented and participation focused therapy
- audiological challenges and solutions within the school context
Team members are: Marleen De Sloovere, Wendy D'Haenens, Mark Laureyns, Karlien Moons, Joost van Dinther, Nele Van Hulle, Filiep Vanpoucke, Robby Vanspauwen and Andrzej Zarowski.
